    Hi Shannon -
    Thanks for your question. Sterol 117 is contraindicated if you are taking prednisone. Their actions are opposed to one another – prednisone diminishes inflammation by shutting off parts of the immune response, whereas S117 will support the immune response. You could undermine the purpose of taking the prednisone, so it’s best to wait until after you are finished it.

    I’m currently taking prednisone for thyroiditis. I’ve taken Sterol 117 before, just cannot remember if it was during or after I had finished my prednisone. Can I take Sterol 117 at the same time I’m taking the prednisone?
